Thomas "Bud" Sedlack, Jr. - Chief 1956-1957, joined the Piermont Fire Department in 1948.  Bud served as an assistant Forman in 1950 and elected Chief in 1956 serving two years.  Bud served as Captain of the ambulance in 1964. 1951 Served on committee to purchase first ambulance for the company replacing the 1931 Studebaker emergency truck. 1952 served on the building committee for the addition to the firehouse, March 1956 help organize the underwater rescue team along with Phil Delorenzo and Frank McDonald.  In July 1957 purchased the first fire alarm siren which was activated from the old mill boiler room.
